1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Clarion Tarot ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Janus Works LLC ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Description of Service

Clarion Tarot is a tarot reading application that provides:

• Daily tarot card readings
• Question-based tarot spreads
• AI-powered card interpretations
• A library of tarot card meanings
• Reading history and journaling features

You may use the App anonymously or create an account. If you create an account:

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You agree to provide accurate information when setting up your profile
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.1 Free and Premium Features

Clarion Tarot offers both free features with daily usage limits and premium subscription options for unlimited access.

5.2 Payment Terms

• All payments are processed through the Apple App Store
• Subscription fees are charged at the beginning of each billing period
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel your subscription through your App Store account settings

5.3 Refunds

Refunds are handled according to Apple's App Store refund policies. Please contact Apple Support for refund requests.

6. User Conduct

When using the App, you agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's systems or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality or servers
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
• Use the App to transmit harmful code or malware
• Share, sell, or transfer your account to another person

7. Intellectual Property

All content in the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, images, card designs, interpretations, and software, is owned by Janus Works LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute any content from the App without our prior written consent
• Use our trademarks, logos, or brand elements without permission
• Create derivative works based on the App's content

8. User-Generated Content

Any notes, questions, or other content you create within the App remains your property. However, by using the App, you grant us a non-exclusive license to store and process this content as necessary to provide the service.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JANUS WORKS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Service interruption or system failure
• Any damages arising from your use of or reliance on the App
• Any decisions you make based on readings or interpretations provided by the App

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Janus Works LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the App will immediately cease
• We may delete your account and associated data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
• Any provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect

12. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any such modifications, suspension, or discontinuation.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms within the App and updating the "Effective Date." Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Janus Works LLC regarding the use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
